Almost 700,000 students and scholars from all over the world have come to the United States not familiar with our language and culture? Over 5,000 of them are in Central Ohio!

Who are these students?

Some of the world’s finest students are preparing for their future at some of the world’s finest universities right here in America. Tomorrow’s leaders are being educated in the U.S. today! Click here for a list of some of the current world leaders trained in the U.S. These students represent the best and brightest of their respective countries, and many will return to their homelands to take up positions of influence in business, science and government.

Why do we exist?

International Friendships exists to fill these felt needs. What are their needs? Transportation, food, shelter, furniture, the English language and much more. Ideally, we would be the first face they see when arriving in the U.S. and would help them as they get adjusted to our culture. Click here for a list of the many needs our volunteers fill.
